On April 1st, the Chinese historical drama "Nguyet Lan Ky Ky Ky" starring Cuc Tinh Y, Tang Thuan Hy, Tran Do Linh, Dien Gia Thuy, and Diem An specially participated, officially aired on the Youku and Netflix platforms.
On the same morning, the female lead Cuc Tinh Y also posted an article on social networks to promote the movie.
According to the latest update, "Nguyet Lan Ky Ky Ky" has entered the 5th position of Datawin's hottest movie chart and the 6th position on Vlinkage's online movie chart.
The female lead Lo Vu Y of Cuc Tinh Y is also present in 7th position on the list of most notable film characters.
However, immediately after the film aired and achieved initial success, the production side had to face difficulties.
Siba Media Company directly posted a notice accusing Cuc Tinh Y of violating the contract and participating in "Nguyet Lan Ky Ky Ky" without the company's consent.
The company emphasized that in the exclusive artist contract signed with Cuc Tinh Y, there is a clear regulation that the film contract is valid until 2033, not the so-called "10 years + extension" as rumored.
Siba Media declared: "Cuc Tinh Y's participation in this film without the company's consent seriously violated the terms of the contract.
The film production side, although knowing clearly that the artist is still bound by a contract with our company, has repeatedly ignored the notice and still intentionally continued, infringing on the legitimate rights of the company”.
After that, Siba Media clarified that whether the film is broadcast or not does not change the nature of the contract violation. The company said that it has sued the film producer in a competent court since 2025, the case has been accepted and is still in the process of prosecution.

Meanwhile, the conflict between Cuc Tinh Y and Siba Media broke out from June 2024.
On Ju Jingyi's 30th birthday, Siba Media suddenly announced that it had completed the first phase of cooperation with the singer and actress and moved to the second phase of cooperation under an "additional agreement" (contract lasting until 2033).
In response, Cuc Tinh Y affirmed that the management contract between her and Siba ended on June 18, 2024 and was not renewed. The actress filed a lawsuit, requesting a signature review for the "additional agreement" in 2018 that Siba mentioned, insisting that this document was forged and she had never signed it.
The management contract dispute between Siba Media and Cuc Tinh Y is still being resolved according to legal procedures, and the two sides have not reached any reconciliation agreement.
Due to conflicts with the company, the movie "Nguyet Lan Ky Ky Ky" starring Cuc Tinh Y was affected.
Initially, the work was scheduled to air in 2024. But Siba Media used the reason "exclussive management rights have not been terminated" to complain that the film "seriously violated", leading to the film being scheduled for screening many times and then withdrawn.
It was not until recently that "Nguyet Lan Ky Ky Ky" was scheduled to air on April 1st, but continued to be entangled in storms.
On Cúc Tịnh Y's side, the actress was also involved in a scandal because of a complaint claiming that she was evading taxes. However, Cúc Tịnh Y has spoken out to deny the accusation.
At the same time, the Shanghai Tax Department posted a notice clarifying that actress Cuc Tinh Y did not evade taxes.
