Tet music starts early

Although there is still more than 1 month until the Lunar New Year 2026, the Vietnamese music market has already entered the "Tet season" with a series of products launched from the early days of 2026.

Artists choose perseverance and traditional values

Just a few days after entering 2026, singer Dan Truong introduced the MV "Tinh hoa Tet Viet" (composed by Nguyen Thuong), officially "opening" this year's spring music race. The song evokes the anxious atmosphere of the days leading up to Tet, and at the same time sends a message about preserving national cultural identity in modern life.

For Dan Truong, launching Tet music has almost become a tradition. The male singer said that he always tries to have a product to send to the audience every spring, because according to him, Vietnamese Tet and traditional values are things that need to be cherished and remembered.

Not only the names that have been associated with spring music for many years, the young generation of artists and production crews also joined early. Gala Nhac Viet officially launched the MV lyrics for the song "This Year the Horse" - composed by musician Pham Dat, performed by Ngo Kien Huy, Gin Tuan Kiet, Tang Phuc, Tieu Minh Phung and BB Tran. This is the opening performance for Gala Nhac Viet Tet 2026, with the theme "New Year's prosperity".

The song is written from the ups and downs of 2025, but chooses a gentle and positive view: "What is past is past, and health is still the solution". The message "Be a fulcrum for the future that is no longer the same as before" also shows the spirit of responsibility and breakthrough of young people in the new year. The blending of reggae, pop, dance, folk and country on an electronic music background helps the song bring fresh colors, easily accessible to young audiences.

2026 Tet music from the bustling surface to the soothing inside

Besides community-spirited products, the Tet 2026 music race is also heating up with the return of personality artists. Hoang Thuy Linh officially joins the "game" when releasing the MV "Radiant 30".

The name "Radiant 30" is interpreted by the audience in many directions: The number 30 may evoke Hoang Thuy Linh's three-decade journey with art, or it may also be the image of "the 30th night of Tet" - a moment of emotional transition between the old year and the new year. The MV is imbued with the Asian festival atmosphere, combining modern spirit - a familiar mark in the female singer's music. Through this, Hoang Thuy Linh continues to show the view that making Tet music is not only for fun listening, but also to convey spiritual values and cultural depth.

Meanwhile, Truc Nhan chose to "open" the new year with the song "All things as desired". The MV released quickly attracted attention with its graceful and approachable hosting style in Truc Nhan's style. The MV opens as a friendly conversation with the audience, from "too late for new music release" to introducing the song title and release date.

The highlight lies in the short melody with a fast, lively rhythm, which Truc Nhan jokingly describes as "tang tang tang tang tang". Although only a few seconds, the piece of music has evoked the familiar festival atmosphere of the Tet season: Brilliant, easy to remember and highly contagious. The line of rewriting implicitly about guests and a series of comments from close artists further make the audience curious.

After about three years of absence from the "spring music battlefield", Truc Nhan's return is expected to continue to bring a Tet song that is both cheerful and full of personality, just like he did with "Old Things Forgotten" or "Sleeping to Welcome Tet".

Overall, Tet music 2026 is showing a clear transformation: Not only stopping at bustling melodies, but also aiming for the role of soothing and spiritually supporting the public after a year of great pressure. From veteran artists to young faces, each product adds a color, reflecting the common desire: Starting the new year with positivity, hope and connection.
