Recently, Hong Kong (China) entertainment tycoon Huong Hoa Cuong posted a video on social networks, speaking out for the first time about Bruce Lee's passing.
According to his account from the memories of Dinh Boi's ex-wife, that day Bruce Lee was chatting at her house when he suddenly had a headache. Dinh Boi gave him pain relievers and let him rest. After falling asleep, Bruce Lee never woke up again.
In the video, Huong Hoa Cuong also denied rumors that "Dinh Boi poisoned Bruce Lee" have been spreading for many years.

Based on his many years of martial arts training experience, Huong Hoa Cuong believes that the cause of Bruce Lee's death was due to "excessive training".
High-intensity training, especially continuous sandbag beating, can cause repetitive shocks to the brain and heart. When he was alive, Bruce Lee pursued an extreme muscular body and reflex rate, keeping the body fat ratio extremely low, and even used extreme methods such as electric shock to reduce fat, causing the body to always be overloaded.
Huong Huaqiang himself, when he was young, also suffered "qi-related injuries" due to overtraining, and later had to undergo rehab to recover. He speculated that the internal injuries that Bruce Lee suffered under a harsh training regime were much more serious than he imagined.
After the video was posted, public opinion quickly divided into two streams of opinions. Some people believe that Huong Hoa Cuong's analysis from a martial arts perspective is reasonable, especially agreeing with the warning "practice needs to be moderate".
But some people also pointed out that the cause of Bruce Lee's death has not yet been officially concluded; the record records the cause including "drug allergy leading to cerebral edema", so Huong Hoa Cuong's opinion is only personal speculation.

As a person directly involved in the incident, Dinh Boi has been under great public pressure for decades, even affecting his family's life later.
Dinh Boi has a prestigious background, her maternal grandfather used to be the Director of the Bac Binh Police Department, and her younger brother is Major Truong Hoc Luong.
In the early 1970s, Dinh Boi met Bruce Lee through the introduction of producer Zou Wenhuai and became close friends, sources in the industry said the two were dating.
The accident in 1973 made Dinh Boi the focus of criticism. After Bruce Lee passed away, she was mentally devastated and had to rely on drugs to make ends meet.
During that dark period, Huong Hoa Cuong was always by her side. In 1976, the two got married. But Dinh Boi could not escape the shadow of Bruce Lee.
Four years later, when Huong Hoa Cuong met Tran Lam, Dinh Boi took the initiative to let go to arrange for them. After the divorce, Huong Hoa Cuong still took care of the life of his ex-wife.
Coincidentally, the son of Huong Hoa Cuong and Tran Lam - Huong Ta - was born right on the death anniversary of Bruce Lee (July 20). Dinh Boi believed that this was predestined fate, so he treated Huong Ta like his own child.
