The adopted daughter of late NSƯT Vu Linh - Vo Thi Hong Loan for the first time shared details about the change of the rights defender in the long-standing inheritance dispute.
Accordingly, Hong Loan publicly disclosed a number of documents related to the termination of the legal service contract with Tam Quang Law Company Limited and authorization documents for Ms. Nguyen Tuyet Ngoc.
According to Hong Loan, from April 2026, she and Tam Quang Law Company Limited agreed to terminate the legal service contract according to her wishes. This content is also reflected in the documents posted by Hong Loan, in which the law firm announced that it will not continue to participate in protecting the legitimate rights and interests of customers from the time of contract termination.
Hong Loan said that she then planned to sign a contract with Le Minh Nhut Law Office to participate in the appellate trial of the inheritance dispute between NSƯT Vu Linh and artist Hong Nhung. However, due to some force majeure reasons near the trial date, the registration to participate in the proceedings could not be carried out.
Next, Hong Loan chose the option of asking Ms. Nguyen Tuyet Ngoc to participate in the lawsuit in the form of authorized representative. However, before the trial, Hong Loan had to be hospitalized, so the trial was postponed.
Hong Loan emphasized that Ms. Nguyen Tuyet Ngoc is no longer a representative lawyer providing legal services for her, but only an authorized representative, not receiving remuneration (i.e., Ms. Tuyet Ngoc was previously her representative lawyer in lawsuits but is currently only in the role of authorized representative).
The appellate trial of the heritage dispute case of late Meritorious Artist Vu Linh has been postponed for the 2nd time. The court said it will reopen in the near future.
