On the evening of February 16 (December 29 of the Lunar New Year Binh Ngo 2026), at the Dragon Bridge East Coast Park (Da Nang City), Trung Vuong Theater organized a New Year's art program with the theme "Spring Sunshine of the New Street", attracting a large number of people and tourists to participate.
The program takes place in a bustling atmosphere before the New Year's Eve moment, bringing fresh, emotional artistic colors, contributing to creating a cultural and spiritual highlight for the city by the Han River during the traditional Tet holiday.
Spring Sunshine on the New Street" is elaborately staged, combining music, dance and modern stage effects, recreating a vibrant spring picture. The program consists of two main parts. The "Spring Calls" part opens up a joyful art space with songs praising the Party, Uncle Ho, homeland, country and national pride. The "Spring Sunshine on the Street" part brings a youthful, modern breath, depicting the dynamic pace of life in Da Nang in the first days of the new year.
Participating in the performance were artists from the Trung Vuong Theater in Da Nang and about 100 extras. The performances were invested in both content and form, bringing the audience an emotional art night, leaving many beautiful impressions.
The excited atmosphere spread as people and tourists waited together for the moment of transition from the old year to the new year, creating a lively, warm and emotional New Year's Eve in the city center.
Ms. Nguyen Minh Hien (resident of An Hai ward) said that every year her family goes to the Dragon Bridge area to welcome New Year's Eve. "This year there is the New Spring Sunlight program, so the atmosphere is even more joyful. Children watch performances, adults watch art performances and wait for fireworks, the feeling of Tet is very clear," Ms. Hien said.
Along with the mainland, in Cu Lao Cham island commune, the atmosphere of welcoming New Year's Eve took place bustlingly with brilliant flags and flowers, shimmering fireworks, people excitedly welcomed the New Year in joy, reunion and wishing for a year of favorable weather.
