On the evening of August 7, the movie "Choa don" officially aired early. According to Box Office Vietnam, as of the afternoon of August 8, the film ranked fourth at the Vietnamese box office. The film's current revenue is nearly 700 million VND.
On August 8 (up to now), the film is only over 200 million VND, far behind "taking your mother away" (nearly 2.5 billion VND). Currently, the total revenue of the film "Bringing Me Go" has exceeded 100 billion VND.
The film "Choa don" encountered many controversies when the producer decided to use AI technology to replace the image of the female lead Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien after she was prosecuted.
Although there is certain curiosity from the audience, most of the debate revolves around whether AI is really effective or not.
Director Bao Nhan and the producer affirmed that using AI is the most reasonable solution to bring films to the theater. They said that they have carefully considered the legality, affirming that Thuy Tien violated the contract, so they have no right to complain to the producer. The voice of the female lead character was also completely recreated by actor Huynh Bao Ngoc.
"Closing the deal" is about the female lead Hoang Linh and the older employee Mr. An - initially just a combination of profits, but gradually becoming a trio overcoming challenges at work. The film features People's Artist Hong Van, Hong Dao, Le Loc, Mai Bao Vinh and Do Nhat Ha.
