"Fatherland in the Heart: The Concert Film" recreates emotional images at My Dinh Stadium and brings the audience the behind-the-scenes story of the production team.
Accordingly, the film opens with concerns from the Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper - Mr. Le Quoc Minh about wanting to organize a large-scale music night, wanting to bring the heroic melodies of red music to a large audience, in order to spread the spirit of patriotism and national pride at the time when the whole country is looking forward to the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
The concert "Fatherland in the heart" was conceived by Nhan Dan Newspaper in collaboration with the Hanoi People's Committee very early. Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh affirmed that organizing a large-scale music concert with the theme "Fatherland in the heart" is also a plan to realize the development of cultural industries in the capital in 2025.
According to the original plan, the concert "Fatherland in Heart" was scheduled to take place on August 31 but was later postponed to 20 days earlier (11.8%), becoming the opening event for the series of events celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.

The crew took the biggest idea from the "golden star" on the flag to become the main message for the concert. As Mr. Le Quoc Minh - Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper said, "coming to the music concert "Fatherland in the heart" there will be no star, other than the star on the national flag".

The journey to race against time to organize a large-scale concert at My Dinh Stadium, the script interwoven from music to recreating historical stories with 50,000 audiences attending - has become an emotional journey for the production team.
Director Minh Tri shared that many difficulties and challenges have arisen for the crew, from how to bring revolutionary songs to the stage for audiences of all ages - from the grandparents, parents to the young generation of Gen Z, to concerns about the arrangement, installation, and stage design of how to bring the tons of firecrackers up as "tools" for the performance "Fire Tractor", or how to calculate how to recreate the parade team consisting of 68 soldiers who marched in Red Square so that the audience could imagine the heroic atmosphere...
The documentary Fatherland in the Heart: The Concert Film with a length of 90 minutes recreates the 3-month journey preparing for the national concert of the crew. The film has many scenes sharing the difficulties, challenges, and nurturing and enthusiasm of the crew, while recreating the explosive atmosphere at My Dinh Stadium under many camera angles - from close, medium, and complete - to see the burst of tears of 50,000 audiences blending in with the emotional beat of music.
Singer Dang Duong shared in the documentary that he has sung revolutionary songs many times on many different stages, but when standing at My Dinh Stadium, in front of 50,000 spectators, he was still overwhelmed, still trying to perform a different song, more fresh... And, he was extremely moved, when thousands of spectators sang along with "Dat Nuoc Phuong Hanh". Dang Duong has never experienced or felt that.
The documentary recreates Tung Duong's debates behind the scenes when he performed the song "Continuing to write the story of peace". Tung Duong wants to show difference, wants to sing with a high voice, but the music director believes that, "if I sing so loudly, the audience will not be able to sing along"...
The documentary "Fatherland in the Heart: The Concert Film" continues its journey and mission to spread the spirit of patriotism and national pride to many generations of audiences.
The film is labeled P ( disseminated to all audiences), with a ticket price of 65,000 VND, and will be released in theaters from today, October 17. Revenue from ticket sales will be transferred to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, to support people in flooded areas.
