On the evening of October 12, the concert "Em xinh say hi" night 2 took place at My Dinh National Stadium, following the success of night 1 in Ho Chi Minh City.
The concert gathered dozens of young artists from the famous entertainment program "Em xinh say hi".
The show brought a series of grand performances, applying modern stage technology and many familiar hits, especially many songs with folk and traditional sounds such as "Duong gian", "Cam gia thiet bas", "Bac thang len chieu" ...
Among the notable performances, the song "Duyen" is considered one of the most special artistic highlights of the program, when combining traditional Northern Xam singing materials and modern hip-hop style - an interesting intersection between old and new, between traditional and young creativity.

Duyen was performed by Phuong My Chi, Lam Bao Ngoc, Saabirose, Liu grace and Phao, bringing an explosive effect in both music and emotion.
Interestingly, two famous singers in singing - Phuong My Chi and Lam Bao Ngoc - tried their hand at rapping, while three professional rappers, Saabirose, Liu grace and Phao - switched to singing, creating a unique exchange.
In particular, Phao both played the erhu and performed Xam singing, a traditional art form that was very difficult to express, but was stylized in a modern style, both preserving the folk elements of Northern culture and carrying the strong, individual breath of the younger generation.

However, the most touching point for the audience was the appearance of People's Artist Thanh Ngoan, former Director of the Vietnam Cheo Theater.
The female artist appeared in a modern outfit, in harmony with the song "Duyen".

Sharing at the program, People's Artist Thanh Ngoan said: "I am very proud to see the children grow up. For me, standing on this stage is a fate.
Few people know that People's Artist Thanh Ngoan, who was the Director of the Vietnam Cheo Theater from 2012 to 2022, has been involved in Cheo art for more than 44 years.
After retiring, she continued to contribute to the traditional stage through performance, teaching and research.
Having confirmed to Lao Dong Newspaper in an interview in March 2025, People's Artist Thanh Ngoan confirmed that after her retirement, she was appointed Director of the Vietnam Traditional Performing Arts Conservation Center, along with many colleagues to manage activities to preserve, promote and spread the value of traditional arts.

Originating from the cradle of art in Thai Binh, People's Artist Thanh Ngoan has known how to sing Cheo since he was 7 years old.
She has made a deep impression through roles such as Hoan Thu in Thuy Kieu, Hong Chau restaurant owner in Ho Xuan Huong, and many other classic stage works.
Not only is she a performing artist, she is also a researcher, a strict lecturer and passionate about the younger generation.
The appearance of People's Artist Thanh Ngoan in the concert "Em xinh say hi" is a symbol of the spirit of cultural exchange between tradition and modernity.
The performance "Duyen" is a reminder that traditional art is not old, but can be lively and relevant if created properly.
