Reaching a revenue of more than 550 billion VND after nearly 20 days of release, the film "Red Rain" is continuing to cause a fever at the Vietnamese box office.
In the film, the image of soldiers saying goodbye to their relatives and getting on a train to the front line was filmed at Luu Xa Station (Thai Nguyen). After the appeal of the film, the station became a check-in destination for Thai Nguyen youth.
Many images at the station in the film by director Dang Thai Huyen are still intact.

Mr. Ngo Quang Tien - Head of Luu Xa Station (Thai Nguyen) - said that before filming the film "Red Rain", the film crew went to survey, then asked for the opinion of the general company to film many scenes at Luu Xa Station: "The film crew filmed here for about 3 days. Before filming, the station also coordinated with the group to repair and reconstruct some images. The scene at Luu Xa station in the film is the image of sending troops to the battlefield.
The station side is also honored to appear in the film. The image in the film of the station name is Luu Trieu".

According to Mr. Tien, after the appeal of "Red Rain", many young people have come here to take photos. The unit also decided to keep the words and photos designed during filming. This is also a way for many people to know Luu Xa Station, thereby educating patriotism for young people.
Ms. Nguyen Tuyet Ngan (Thai Nguyen) said: "After watching the movie "Red Rain", I decided to go to Luu Xa Station, the place chosen as the setting for the movie to take photos and record beautiful moments".

According to Ms. Ngan, Luu Xa Station was a witness to many heroic and historical stories of the nation. During the resistance war, the station was a place to transport weapons to serve the battlefield. When I set foot here, I felt more clearly the sacrifice, courage and strong love for the country of previous generations.
"The images in the movie "Red Rain" or Luu Xa Station are very meaningful. Especially to educate the younger generation, to respect, to preserve traditions, to follow in the footsteps of our father with youth, intelligence and the desire to contribute", Ms. Ngan said.
Along with the establishment of Gang Thep Industrial Park in 1959, the Dong Anh - Quan Trieu railway line and Luu Xa Station were also built. On July 11, 2019, the first ship opened on the route.
Initially, Luu Xa Station was built to serve Gang Thep Industrial Park, then added the function of a passenger terminal.
During the war, from 1965, 1966, 1967, Luu Xa Station was continuously a target of shelling by the US military. Luu Xa Station is considered a "hand port" for transporting weapons and goods to the South. On the night of December 24, 1972, 60 young volunteers of Company 915 heroically sacrificed their lives when the enemy dropped a bomb at Luu Xa station.
Currently, Luu Xa station mainly carries goods.
