The photo series is part of Viet Van’s long-term photo project of old apartment buildings in Hanoi. The competition jury, consisting of many photography experts (creative directors, art directors, gallery and museum owners, critics, etc.) from many countries, selected and awarded the best images to share with the creative community in Hungary and Eastern Europe.
The “Photographer of the Year” award went to Philippe Provost, Canada, for his work “Spiral at the Louis Museum” and the “Discovery of the Year” award went to Joao Coelho, Portugal, for his work “Taming the Giants.”
Previously, the photo series "The houses gradually disappear" by Viet Van won an honorary award at the Neutral Density Award (UK) 2024.
