    According to information from the Organizing Committee of the annual Budapest International Foto Awards (Hungary), the color photo series (11 photos) named "Special beauty of Vietnamese puppetry" by Viet Van, a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, won an honorable mention.

    This is a photo set part of a feature film project by Viet Van, which previously entered the top 50 (finalist) of the Travel Tales Awards (Italy) 2025.

    The grand prize of the contest went to photographer Chrissie Hall ( Australian) with the photo series Layers of The Kaleidoscope Qween. The contest attracted thousands of photos from many countries, judged by 11 judges from the US, UK, France... Viet Van has won the Budapest Foto Awards for three years, and in 2024 the Second Prize for the photo series of old apartment buildings in Hanoi.
