On October 22, rapper and music producer Sean "Diddy" Combs is currently facing 7 new serious charges filed in New York federal court.
In particular, a new lawsuit has been filed related to an incident that allegedly occurred after the MTV Video Music Awards in 2000.
According to CNN, the lawsuit was filed by a woman now 37 years old, who was kept anonymous in court records under the name Jane Doe. The plaintiff alleges that the incident occurred at a VMAs after-party on September 7, 2000, when the plaintiff was 13 years old.
According to the lawsuit, the victim was invited to the party by a limousine driver. After drinking a glass of wine, the girl felt dizzy and found a bedroom to rest.
Here, Combs and two other celebrities (a man and a woman) sexually assaulted her.
The lawsuit describes Combs approaching the victim with the statement "You're ready to party!" before pushing her away to an unnamed male celebrity.
The man then raped her while Combs and the female celebrity watched. Combs then raped the victim himself.
The lawsuit also highlights the serious consequences the victim has suffered: "After the attack, the plaintiff fell into a deep depression, which continued to affect every aspect of her life," CNN wrote.
The above accusation is just part of a serious chain of accusations against Combs. Federal prosecutors accused the rapper of running a "criminal enterprise" through his business empire, engaging in sex trafficking, forced labor and kidnapping. The trial is scheduled to take place in May 2025.
Before the information was given, Sean "Diddy" Combs completely denied all allegations.
Diddy's lawyer asserted: "Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone - adult or minor, man or woman."
Currently, Sean "Diddy" Combs is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn and has been denied bail.
The case is being investigated and tried according to the legal process. The court is continuing to collect evidence and statements from related parties.
