Muong Ham Festival is held on the 5th and 6th days of the first lunar month every year.
In 2026, pre-festival activities began to take place from February 16 (ie, December 29 of the year At Ty) at Muong Ham Temple (Nghe An).
This is a traditional festival of the White Thai people in Phu Quy region. The ceremony is solemnly held at Muong Ham Temple to show gratitude to the merits of the predecessors and report the achievements of the locality.
The festival part includes unique folk cultural and artistic activities, traditional games such as crossbow shooting, con throwing, bamboo jumping, and bamboo carving.
This is an opportunity for people to pray for a new year of favorable weather, good harvests, prosperous villages, and at the same time preserve and promote Thai ethnic cultural values.
Muong Ham Festival together with Muong Ham Temple has been ranked as a provincial-level historical relic since 2024.
