Pleiku Mountain Town Gives Strength to Olympia Climbers

Gia Lai - People of the mountain town of Pleiku sent their best wishes to Olympia climber Nguyen Quoc Nhat Minh.

On October 13, many teachers, students and people in Gia Lai province were present at the "Central Highlands Paradise" Exhibition Area and Dai Doan Ket Square, Pleiku city to watch and cheer for Nguyen Quoc Nhat Minh competing in the final round of the 24th Road to Olympia.

At the locations, students and parents enthusiastically cheered for Nhat Minh, giving the young man from the mountainous town of Pleiku confidence and completing the questions well to win the glorious laurel wreath for the locality.

This year, Gia Lai is honored to be one of the four locations of the Olympia contest because of the participation of Nguyen Quoc Nhat Minh (student of Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted).

Up to this point, all basic preparations have been completed, ready for the province's first live television broadcast.

Mr. Vu Dinh Lang (in Chu A commune, Pleiku city) shared: “This year, I am very happy because Gia Lai has a contestant participating in the final round. I decided to be present at the bridge to join in the cheering atmosphere for Nhat Minh. Hopefully he will bring home the laurel wreath.”

For students of Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted, this event is extremely important, not only a joy but also a source of pride.

Student Doan Ngoc Nhan (Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted) said: “From early morning, my classmates and I gathered at Dai Doan Ket Square to cheer for Nhat Minh. We all hope that he will be confident and calm to win today.”

Currently, the whole school is ready to cheer for Nhat Minh in this important final round."
