It is known that it was an event of the KOL couple Ninh Anh Bui and Nguyen Tung Duong (Ninh Duong Story). The program is scheduled to take place on September 27 at Ho Xuan Huong Stadium (HCMC) and has become a hot topic of debate on social networks in recent times.
According to the Department, on September 3, 2025, the unit received a document from The Bros Vietnam Joint Stock Company proposing to organize a program called "Exchange meeting with Nguyen Tung Duong and Ninh Anh Bui". Based on the proposal and the Government's Decree 144/2020/ND-CP regulating performing arts activities, on September 11, the Department issued a document approving the organization of performing arts activities.
The approved program content includes appraised songs that have been featured in many previous programs. The Department also coordinated with relevant agencies to work with the organizing unit, requesting the provision of security plans, scripts for communication with the audience as well as other activities to ensure conditions for the program to take place in accordance with regulations.
Notably, the Department emphasized that the program "Exchange with Nguyen Tung Duong and Ninh Anh Bui" is managed as an "art performance", not simply registering for commercial events.
However, this program did not carry out administrative procedures for advertising. Activities with commercial elements, if any, are not under the direct management of the Department of Culture and Sports.
Thus, the fan meeting of the Ninh Duong Story couple has been licensed by the Department in accordance with regulations, with the main content being performing arts combined with interacting with the audience. Steps of appraisal, review and inspection of safety assurance plans are continuing to be implemented before the event date.
The previous fan meeting of the couple Ninh Duong Story (Ninh Anh Bui and Nguyen Tung Duong) when it was announced to be selling tickets became the focus of controversy on social networks. The reason comes from the fact that many people think that they are just a KOL couple, not active in professional art, organizing large-scale events, selling tickets like a concert is unreasonable.
Many opinions say that fan meetings are commercial, need to be strictly managed like professional art shows and moreover, ticket prices up to 2.8 million VND/ticket are considered quite expensive for a couple who are not famous artists.
