The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong was established on the basis of merging the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Duong province with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong City in a streamlined direction. After the merger, the Department consists of 8 functional departments and 9 public service units.
According to the decisions on personnel work, Mr. Nguyen Van Long holds the position of Chief of the Department's Office; Ms. Phuong Thi Thanh Binh holds the position of Head of the Planning - Finance Department. Mr. Tran Huu Hung holds the position of Head of the Department of Tourism Resources Promotion, Extension and Development; Ms. Le Thi Hoai Phuong holds the position of Head of the Department of Information - Press - Publishing.

Mr. Vu Truong Son holds the position of Head of the Department of Cultural Heritage Management; Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Hue holds the position of Head of the Department of Tourism Management, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Mr. Mai Xuan Tuan holds the position of Principal of the College of Culture, Arts and Tourism; Ms. Bui Thi Nguyet Nga holds the position of Director of the Hai Phong Museum.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa holds the position of Director of the Hai Phong Contemporary Arts Theater; Ms. Dinh Thi Bich Lien holds the position of Director of the City Cultural, Cinema and Exhibition Center. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Lien holds the position of Head of the Management Board of Con Son - Kiep Bac Relics.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Tran Thi Hoang Mai, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, requested that newly established departments and units urgently stabilize the organization; promptly issue regulations on functions, tasks, and working regulations; review, propose to adjust and implement the 2025 work plan on the basis of fully inheriting the functions and tasks of previous units, ensuring no overlap or omission.
For the appointed cadres, the Director of the Department requested each cadre to clearly define their responsibilities, continue to practice and improve their political qualities and ethics; maintain revolutionary qualities and ethics; continue to promote the accumulated capacity, strengths and knowledge, quickly approach and start work, determined to best complete the assigned political tasks.
