Song Hye Kyo and Gong Yoo officially closed their year-long filming journey for Netflix's upcoming original series project called "Slowly, Intensely".
When saying goodbye to the film crew, both actors shared emotional messages, expressing deep attachment to the work as well as the characters they played.
On January 13, Song Hye Kyo posted a photo on social media with a short caption: "Minja... goodbye".
The image shows the name "Minja" written on the snow covering the ground, as a subtle way for the actress to express her feelings for the character, and also mark the moment of farewell after the official recording process ended.

Previously, on January 10, Song Hye Kyo also shared images of the film script with the status line "last working day". The complete script consists of four volumes of documents, lasting from volume 1 to volume 22, with pages of paper groomed and folded, partly reflecting the high workload and challenging production process of the crew over the past year.
Slowly, Intensely" is considered one of Netflix's large-scale projects, with an estimated production cost of over 75.3 billion won (equivalent to about 57 million USD). The film started filming in January 2025 and lasted for a year before being officially completed.
No less touched, her co-star - Gong Yoo - also expressed deep affection for the project. Posting a series of photos taken with members of the film crew, the male actor wrote: "It's hard to believe it's been a year", along with shares such as "I'm very happy to be loved. Thank you everyone so much" and "I'm still not ready to let go".
Sending a message to his character, Gong Yoo affectionately wrote: "Dear Donggu, please restrain your hot temper, don't cause more trouble and then be scolded by Minja, live well - healthily and coolly." He concluded with a sincere thank you: "Thank you for coming to me. I was really very happy", showing the deep connection with the role as well as the entire crew.
Slowly, Intensely" is a Netflix original series written by veteran screenwriter Noh Hee Kyung, set in the Korean entertainment industry in the period from the 1960s to the 1980s. The film revolves around the fierce journey of growth of people starting from nothing, constantly striving to achieve success.

In the movie, Song Hye Kyo plays Minja - a woman who has gone through countless upheavals since childhood, thereby forming a strong and resilient inner self. With a bold and decisive personality, Minja enters the Korean music industry, seeking opportunities to change her life amidst countless challenges.
Gong Yoo plays Donggu, Minja's long-time friend, who later entered the entertainment industry with her. Donggu is built as a loyal, emotional character who always listens to Minja unconditionally. Deep friendships and emotional connections between the two characters are expected to become an important highlight of the film.
The project especially attracted attention when marking Song Hye Kyo's strong "transformation", with a short hair image different from her familiar style. In a previous interview, the actress shared that screenwriter Noh Hee Kyung imagined Minja as a woman with short hair and proposed this change. "She was worried about having to ask an actress to cut her hair short like that, but for me, if that is suitable for Minja, there is nothing to be afraid of," Song Hye Kyo said.
