On the evening of September 10, at Trieu Phong Commune Square (Quang Tri Province), the art and political program "Following the footsteps of the founder" took place.
The program was held to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the birth of King Nguyen Hoang (1525-2025).
The program "Following the footsteps of the founder" organized by Quang Tri Newspaper and Radio and Television in coordination with the Vietnam Historical Science Association and the People's Committee of Trieu Phong Commune, includes 3 parts: " Ai Tu - Trieu Phong village of open-ended enterprises", "Quang Tri - the land of business establishment" and "The source line always flows".
With the form of political theory combined with art, the program recreated Nguyen Hoang's arduous but heroic journey, honoring the "Grand Opening Hero" achievement that Professor Phan Huy Le once affirmed, Nguyen Hoang and the Nguyen Lords have completed the final painting to complete the national territorial map.
The founder Nguyen Hoang is considered to have laid the foundation for the cause of opening the South, building the earliest capital in Ai Tu, Quang Tri. From here, he gradually built Thuan Quang land into a prosperous place, affirmed the sovereignty of the sea and islands, expanded the territory and left a great mark in the history of the nation.
