In the document, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requested heads of units under the Ministry to implement a number of contents, including continuing to inspect, review, and develop plans to protect cultural, sports, tourism institutions and facilities managed by the unit. At the same time, temporarily suspend entertainment, recreation, and tourism activities during the flood warning period.
Second, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requires serious on-duty organization, regular and timely information and reporting to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the situation of flood response and damage occurring in the management areas of agencies and units.
Agencies and units shall report in writing the damage to works and items caused by storm No. 3 and floods that directly affect the operations of the agency or unit, along with an estimate to remedy the damage, to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (through the Ministry Office) for consideration and decision.
For agencies and units under the Ministry headquartered in Hanoi, especially in the districts of Bac Tu Liem, Tay Ho, Ba Dinh, Hoan Kiem, Hai Ba Trung, Hoang Mai, Long Bien, Thanh Tri, Dong Anh, Gia Lam, proactively monitor the flood developments on mass media and announcements of local authorities, ministries and related branches to take timely measures to ensure the safety of life and property of cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, teachers, students.
The Ministry's document clearly states: "Agencies and units closely coordinate with localities to deploy flood response plans; prepare available forces, means, and materials to move important artifacts and documents to safe places. At the same time, organize to overcome consequences and support localities when requested."
In addition, on September 11, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued a document on postponing the organization of the Conference and seminar on policy communication in law making.
