According to musician To Hieu - who accompanied him in his final years, the family wanted to hold a funeral in a concise way, keeping all the privacy so that they could limit communication and not allow any form of livestream.
The inauguration ceremony took place on the morning of December 9 and all ceremonies were performed on December 9-10 at a private home. At 3:30 p.m., the family held a ceremony and took artist Thuong Tin to his final resting place at Hoa Thuy cemetery, Khanh Hoa.

According to musician To Hieu, on the afternoon of December 10, the funeral was quiet, with only a few relatives, some friends and neighbors coming to light incense to bid farewell to the actor who was once on the Vietnamese screen.
Musician To Hieu said that his family received very few wreaths, including the wreath he sent with artist Hong To.
According to To Hieu, the male artist passed away quite suddenly, without leaving a bad impression.



Artist Thuong Tin was born in 1956. He came from the cai luong stage. After that, Thuong Tin quickly switched to cinema and became one of the famous actors in the 1980s. With a handsome appearance, strong eyes and sharp acting, he left a deep impression through a series of classic roles: Major Luu Ky Vong in Van fat dong, general bandit Bach Hai Duong in SBC, Sau Tam in Saigon Border Guard, or Tam Thuong in the Sea of Half Moon Sharing Company.
As of 2015, he has participated in more than 200 films - a rare record for Vietnamese actors. During his peak, there were years when he acted in dozens of films, becoming a widespread face on the big and small screens.
