After the April 30th holiday, Thanh Thuy still continuously moved to promote the movie "Trum So" in many localities. Sharing with reporters, the female artist said that she had just completed a tour to interact with audiences in Da Lat.
Thanh Thuy said that in recent days, a tight schedule has made it almost impossible for her to track film revenue. "I'm so busy that I haven't had time to go in and see how much revenue I'm making," the female artist shared.
According to Thanh Thuy, what she is interested in at this time is not only the box office number but also the actual reaction of the audience after watching the movie. Therefore, she wants to go directly to the cinema complexes to meet and listen to viewers' opinions.
The female artist said: "I want to go for promotion to measure whether my film is bad, why there are few screenings, and what the audience's taste is currently like.
Thanh Thuy admitted that after many years of absence from films, she has no small pressure when returning to the big screen. "It's been 7 years since I started acting in movies again, so sometimes I don't fully understand how audience tastes are changing now," she said.
However, the female artist affirmed that if she could choose again, she would still decide to bring "Trum So" to theaters on April 30th this year. According to Thanh Thuy, this is a work suitable for family and children audiences during the holidays.
I still think this is a suitable time for "Trum So". The film is aimed at family audiences, with young children, so I believe the film will have its own audience," she expressed.
However, what Thanh Thuy regrets is that the film is at a disadvantage in the screening time frame. Many screenings of "Trum So" are scheduled at unfavorable hours such as late at night or early morning.
There are times when movies are scheduled at 11-12 pm or 6-7 am. While family audiences with young children find it very difficult to go to see them at such times," the female artist shared.
Before the question about the revenue pressure and the project's capital recovery capacity of 80 billion VND, Thanh Thuy said that she has not thought too much about profits and losses. According to previous information, director Duc Thinh - Thanh Thuy's husband said that "Trum So" must collect 80 billion VND to recover capital.
Anh Duc Thinh and I are still trying our best for the movie. As for whether to recover the capital or not, I haven't thought about it at this time," Thanh Thuy said.
Despite facing a lot of pressure from the box office, the female artist said that both she and Duc Thinh still maintain an optimistic spirit, continuing to accompany the film in promotional activities in the coming time.
