The origin of the great journey
In the flow of national history, Ben Nha Rong is a sacred place, marking a special moment on June 5,11 - when young man Nguyen Tat Thanh left the Fatherland, starting the journey to find a way to save the country - The journey of origin for a great revolutionary life.

Nha Rong Wharf after the liberation of the South and national reunification in 1975, was renovated to become a memorial site for President Ho Chi Minh. This place officially opened to visitors on September 2, 1979, with the exhibition content of "The Career of Finding the way to save the country of President Ho Chi Minh".
In October 1995, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee decided to change the name of this location from "Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site" to "Ho Chi Minh Museum - Ho Chi Minh City branch".
Mr. Phan Van Minh - Deputy Head of Education Propaganda Department of the Museum - shared: "The event on June 5, 1911 not only marked the turning point in Uncle Ho's life but also the starting point for the country's integration process to the world. From here, President Ho Chi Minh found the proletariat revolution - the road that led the Vietnamese revolution to victory."
Uncle Ho passed away at the age of 21, carrying a strong patriotism, strong desire and iron will. Without money, with just a belief in the future of the nation, he has overcome countless hardships, set foot in more than 30 countries to find solutions for the fate of the country. That spirit of daring to think, daring to do, daring to commit is a priceless lesson for today's young generation.


After more than 40 years of operation, the Ho Chi Minh Museum - Ho Chi Minh City Branch is not only a place to preserve historical memories but also a meaningful destination for traditional education for all classes of people. From students, university students, veterans to tourists, everyone who comes here is moved and grateful for Uncle Ho's great life and career.
On the occasion of the special anniversary of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South, the reunification of the country and 135 years of President Ho Chi Minh's birth, the number of visitors sightseeing museums increased sharply, sometimes up to more than one million times. The museum has had many innovations in display and coordination with other museums to bring vivid and attractive topics, suitable for each visitor.
Uncle Ho in the people's minds
Recalling memories and expressing gratitude, Mr. Bui Hung Nhan (63 years old, from Ha Tinh) said: "I heard you talk about Uncle Ho when I was young, but it was not until I witnessed the artifacts with my own eyes that I deeply felt the meaning and value of old stories".
Mr. Pham Van Long, a tourist from Thanh Hoa, could not hide his emotions when he first visited the Ho Chi Minh Museum: Listening to the tour guide about Uncle Ho's arduous journey, I felt very grateful. Coming here today, I am even more proud to be Vietnamese and realize that I need to try harder to be worthy of the contributions of previous generations.

Ms. Chu Thi Cai (Binh Duong province) choked up as she remembered historical lessons from her school days. Having directly witnessed the images and memorabilia of Uncle Ho at the museum, she was moved to say: I am very proud and grateful for the sacrifices of Uncle Ho and the national heroes. I hope that today's young generation will continue the tradition, preserve and promote the values of independence and freedom that their ancestors had to exchange for blood and bones".
Nha Rong Wharf is today not only a historical site ranked at the city level, but also a symbol of patriotism, the desire for freedom and the persistent revolutionary spirit. Each step here is a reminder of the origin, fostering national pride and a sense of responsibility of each Vietnamese person in the journey of building and developing the country.
