On April 29, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee organized a groundbreaking ceremony for large-scale and important projects and works to celebrate the 51st anniversary of the country's reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026).
The project to renovate and embellish the Ho Chi Minh Museum - Ho Chi Minh City Branch is built in the Ben Nha Rong area with a scale of about 1.4 ha, belonging to the key area of about 9 ha belonging to phase 1 of the Ben Nha Rong - Khanh Hoi Cultural Park project and public green trees along the Saigon River.


The project is expected to be implemented in the form of public-private partnership and a non-required payment BT contract, with 100% capital arranged by the investor, implemented from April to August 2026. After that, it will be completed for acceptance and put into use in September 2026.
This project not only contributes to the planning of the Nha Rong - Khanh Hoi wharf area and expanding the space of the Ho Chi Minh Museum relic, but this is also an area of special historical and cultural value, associated with President Ho Chi Minh's journey to find a way to save the country.

Along with important heritage works along the Saigon River, the renovation and embellishment of the Ho Chi Minh Museum - Ho Chi Minh City Branch not only contributes to preserving and promoting the historical and cultural values of the relic but also creates a new face for the community space along the Saigon River, harmoniously connecting with Nha Rong - Khanh Hoi Wharf. That is the typical cultural, landscape and community living space of Ho Chi Minh City.
