In recent days, storm No. 10 has caused the main stage of the Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival in 2025, located outside the Thuong River dike, to be deeply flooded. The rising water covered the stage that was being prepared, causing many items to be temporarily suspended before they could be implemented.
The scene recorded the water level encroaching on the area preparing for stage equipment. The prolonged flooding has caused surrounding residents to worry about the possibility of affecting the progress and quality of the festival.
Mr. Le Duy Manh - Deputy Head of the Con Son - Kiep Bac Relic Management Board said that the main stage - where many important programs are expected to take place - has been moved from the location on the dike to parking lot No. 1 as planned to ensure safety and convenience for the festival. The stage move was carried out from the afternoon of October 2.

The new stage has an area of about 7,000 m2, an expected capacity of about 5,000 spectators, meeting the requirements of space, vision and program organization.
Due to the initial stage being flooded, the construction work at the old location could not be carried out. The Festival Organizing Committee has held an urgent meeting to agree on a plan to adjust the location and construction progress, to ensure that important programs take place on schedule.
The new stage will be the venue for the main programs of the Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival in 2025, including the 725th Anniversary of the Loss of National Hero Tran Hung Dao, the opening ceremony, the art program "Con Son - Kiep Bac - The thousand-year-old song of the festival" and "Uy Linh Van Kiep - Con Son".
The Organizing Committee emphasized that moving the stage to a new location not only ensures progress, but also meets technical requirements, safety and space to serve the audience.
People around the area expressed their interest, closely monitored the progress and hoped the festival would go smoothly. The Organizing Committee also affirmed that all plans to respond to storms and floods have been carefully planned to ensure the festival is successful, on schedule and ensures the safety of the audience, artists and construction forces.
