The event took place on October 8-9 at the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Culture House (Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat), welcoming the Provincial Party Congress, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress and the 1st Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030.
The festival has more than 250 union members, workers and people participating in the performance, who are artists and artisans currently working at 12 folk song, folk dance and traditional music clubs in and outside the province.
The program includes 50 performances praising the Party, Uncle Ho, and the homeland; reflecting working life, towards the true value of "goodness" and beauty and the aspiration for innovation of the nation.
Mr. Tran Duc Hai - Director of the Provincial Labor Culture House - said that folk songs and traditional music are at risk of fading away.
The festival is held annually to create a playground, arouse the folk song and dance movement, and at the same time be an opportunity for mass actors to exchange, exchange experiences and acting skills.
We always worry about the responsibility to preserve and promote this unique art form, contributing to the successful implementation of the Party's resolution on building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development, Mr. Hai emphasized.
