The Ha Tinh Department of Construction established a team to inspect the quality of Hoa Tien Xuan Thanh Resort after many houses collapsed and were severely damaged after storm No. 10.

On the morning of October 9, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ha - Deputy Director of Ha Tinh Department of Construction - said that the Department of Construction is establishing an inspection team to conduct an inspection of the Tien Xuan Thanh Hoa Resort Project to determine the reason why many villas here have recently collapsed and been severely damaged after storm No. 10.

With the question, according to the reporter's observation, at Hoa Tien Xuan Thanh Resort, why can't you see a breakwater to protect the villas facing the sea that could be hit by waves during the storm? Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ha said that there is an embankment there, but the important question is the quality of the embankment, the design documents of the embankment, and whether it can withstand natural disasters and storms or not.

According to Mr. Ha, the inspection team of the Ha Tinh Department of Construction will conduct an inspection and clarification of the issues raised.

As Lao Dong has reported, after storm No. 10 at Hoa Tien Xuan Thanh Resort in Xuan Thanh tourist area (in Tien Dien commune), many villas were collapsed and severely damaged by waves.

Through observation by Lao Dong Newspaper reporters at the scene, there are signs that many villas were built on sand beaches without dykes or embankments to block the waves in front.

The quality of these villas also raises many questions about the shallow foundation, after being hit by waves, the foundation was dug up and the jaw was very open.

In recent days, the investor has hired workers and sand excavators on the beach to use thousands of sacks to build a temporary breakwater to block waves in front of this row of villas facing the sea.

A management officer here said that in the immediate future, the unit will temporarily reinforce the embankment with sandbags, and later build a solid concrete embankment.

This villa area is one of the complexes of the Hoa Tien Paradise Project with an international standard 18-hole links golf course, a 3000-seat dog racing course, a yacht wharf, a club house, and a Camping Beach Sun Flower tourism area... invested by Hong Lam Xuan Thanh Joint Stock Company.
