This is a rare photo, featuring women who have gone through the war, who have appeared in historical moments of the nation.

Meritorious Artist Kim Cuc was the person who read the most important news bulletin on April 30, 1975, when she was working as an editor of Voice of Vietnam Radio.
Meritorious Artist Kim Cuc said: "That is the most memorable, most touching, and most important news in my life. It is the news with the strongest impact. And it is the most heroic news in the history of broadcasting of Voice of Vietnam Radio.
According to the story, that day, at 11:45 am, a short, concise news bulletin was sent to the station announcing that our army had entered Saigon, overthrowing the gate of the headquarters of the puppet army and puppet government, and completely liberating the city.
Meritorious Artist Kim Cuc was on duty, so she was responsible for reading this news bulletin on the radio waves of Voice of Vietnam Radio, the news bulletin aired at exactly 11:45 AM. After that, another news bulletin was remade, adding more information, adding background music to the song "Như có Bác trong ngày vui đại thắng" (As if Uncle is here on the great victory day), and this news bulletin was broadcast at 6 pm on April 30, 1975.

The news bulletin at 11:45 pm was broadcast live, not re-recorded. So later, there was a period of time when many people only knew about the news bulletin at 6 pm.
The news bulletin on live radio on April 30, 1975 was very concise and succinct with the content: "Please listen to the news of our victory that we have just received. At exactly 11:30 am, our troops advanced into Saigon, attacking and occupying the Independence Palace. The General Staff of the puppet regime - Duong Van Minh surrendered unconditionally. The red flag with a yellow star fluttered on the roof of the Independence Palace. The Ho Chi Minh campaign was a complete victory".
The news bulletin with just those few words was enough to make the whole nation burst into tears, and marked history turning a new page.

Later, witnesses who lived on April 30, 1975, a historic day in Hanoi, such as writer Nguyen Ngoc Tien, recounted: "That day, my Doan Ket 3 School let students take leave from school. We students excitedly cycled up to Hoan Kiem Lake. Bach Mai Street, Hue Street, Hang Bai street were crowded and bustling, the tram driver knocked on the bell to ask for directions. On normal days, we give in, but that day, regardless of the tram, regardless of the bell sound, everyone was joyful in the atmosphere of victory.
Arriving at Hoan Kiem Lake, on normal days this area is not too crowded, but on the afternoon of April 30th, people are crowded. Banners, slogans and bright red flags. We just walked around the lake many times, forgetting hunger and thirst, when the lights lit up, we said goodbye and went home.
According to writer Nguyen Ngoc Tien, that day, Voice of Vietnam Radio (58 Quan Su) set off a long firecracker from near the top of the broadcasting pole to the ground, the explosion resounded in the sky.
And Hanoi - several days of joyful sleeplessness.
