On April 20, in Cam Ly ward - Da Lat, Lam Dong Provincial Police coordinated with the Provincial Library to organize the launching ceremony of Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day.
Opening of the exhibition, book display with the theme: "Lam Dong Police follow Uncle Ho's teachings - Innovate thinking - Improve knowledge - Regular, modern - For the Party, for the people".

The activity aims to celebrate Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2026, towards the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South, national reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2026) and the 136th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2026).
Colonel Tran Van Muoi - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police said that in recent years, the Party Committee and leaders of the Provincial Police have always paid attention to developing reading culture; directing units and localities to build and upgrade reading rooms and law bookshelves; coordinating with the Association for Promoting Education to promote the learning movement.

This year's Book and Reading Culture Day closely follows the theme of the 1st Provincial Police Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
This is an activity to concretize the Resolution of the National Party Congress in the field of cultural construction, contributing to arousing the aspiration to study, spreading reading culture, fostering political bravery, knowledge and working skills for officers and soldiers.
Through the exhibition, each officer and soldier, especially young officers, needs to promote the spirit of self-study, form a habit of reading books every day, turn reading books into a motivation for self-development, contributing to building a regular, elite, and modern force," Colonel Tran Van Muoi emphasized.
At the exhibition, the Organizing Committee displayed hundreds of books with themes about President Ho Chi Minh; works by the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; General Secretary, President To Lam; books on people's police, literature, history, religion... and book models such as the National Assembly Building, "Golden Knowledge - Steadfastly for the people".

Within the framework of the event, the Provincial Police also organized exhibitions and introduced books in the Binh Thuan and Dak Nong areas. The exhibition time is expected to last until the end of April 25.
