The Announcement Ceremony of the Human Act Prize 2026 for Community Action continues the three-year journey to search, spread and honor typical initiatives for the community.
This year's season marks a new development of the award, from recognizing and spreading the values that have been created to promoting connections between people, initiatives and social resources, thereby creating more positive and sustainable impacts for the community.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Quoc Minh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, said that in 2026, the Action for the Community Award will build a common information space about positive actions for the community, gathering and connecting content from press agencies, media units and partners.
What we need is not only more good actions, but the ability to coordinate between those actions, so that resources complement each other and move towards the major problems of the community. When those resources are connected and used more effectively, we can turn kindness into a development capacity of society," Mr. Le Quoc Minh emphasized.
After three seasons, Human Act has accumulated a special foundation: a network of individuals, social organizations, businesses, experts and community activists who have been, are and are always ready to act for the common good.
From that foundation, 2026 marks a new development step for the award: expanding the journey from recognizing the values that have been created to promoting new connections and actions.
One of the key orientations of Human Act in the new phase is to build Action Programs associated with the country's sustainable development priorities.
Each program focuses on a specific group of issues such as Net Zero; Digital Transformation and Innovation; Climate Change Response; Resource Protection and Circular Economy; Equal Education... , thereby identifying practical needs, connecting forces capable of participating and mobilizing social resources towards common goals.
One of the key programs announced by Human Act to accompany in 2026 is "Operation 500 Days and Nights to promote the search, repatriation and identification of martyrs' remains" - a national-level program implemented to accelerate the search, repatriation and identification of martyrs who lack information.
In this program, the State's professional enforcement system has been established; Human Act aims to connect and mobilize social resources to supplement the actual needs of the campaign.
Through this, a major goal of the country can become a common action program, where each force in society can see its work and contribution value.
The spirit of "Community Harmony" was also realized right at the announcement event of the 2026 Community Action Award through the connection between leading press agencies and pioneering businesses.
In this relationship, the press not only performs the task of communicating for the community activities of businesses, and businesses also not only play a role in providing resources.
When these strengths are together aimed at common development goals, the press-business relationship can go beyond the framework of media cooperation to become a synergy for major issues of the community and the development of the country.
The Human Act Prize is a national award held annually to honor individuals, organizations, and businesses who have made positive contributions to society through community initiatives and projects. The award is chaired by Nhan Dan Newspaper; VCCorp Joint Stock Company is the coordinating unit.
