The Community Action Award is an annual national award to honor individuals and organizations that have made positive contributions to society through prestigious initiatives and projects, creating long-term and sustainable impacts.
Among them, the Human Act Prize is the most prestigious award, honoring programs and actions that have made positive and sustainable contributions to the community, inspiring dedication and commitment for a better future for everyone.
Surpassing 32 outstanding projects in the final round, the NESCAFE Plan program was honored in the Human Act Prize “Award of the Year” category. The award is for programs that have a great impact, creating long-term value for the community and the environment.

Honored in the most prestigious category, NESCAFE Plan was recognized by experts in many fields of the Award for the program's positive and comprehensive contribution.
Mr. Le Quoc Minh - Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Head of the Award Organizing Committee shared at the award ceremony: “More than 10 years ago, farmers struggled every day with withered coffee fields, while Vietnam was the second country in the world in terms of coffee export market share.
The regeneration model has completely changed that paradox. The program is carried out according to a methodical and comprehensive process, from improving varieties, changing farming practices, to responsible production in the factory, to create the world's number one Robusta coffee beans from the hands of Vietnamese farmers.
Mr. Khuat Quang Hung, Director of External Affairs and Communications of Nestle Vietnam affirmed: "We set out the mission of closely accompanying coffee farmers to help them cope with increasingly severe climate change, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve their livelihoods.
In particular, NESCAFE Plan helps farmers understand that they are a sustainable link in the global value chain. Above all, the program will continue to expand to 2030 and beyond, for a prosperous Vietnam and a more sustainable planet."
NESCAFE Plan is a global initiative of Nestle Group, implemented in Vietnam since 2011. The program plays an important role in addressing the challenges of the coffee industry in Vietnam, through specific and innovative solutions, focusing on regenerative agriculture, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving farmers' livelihoods and protecting the environment.
