The General Department of Tourism has just issued a document proposing to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to nominate the director of the film "Kong: Skull Island" as Vietnam's Tourism Ambassador. Currently, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is reviewing and it is expected that tomorrow (March 9) there will be an official answer.
It is known that the selection of Tourism Ambassadors must follow the correct process, especially for people of foreign nationality, so the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will establish a council to consider and carefully consider the proposal of the General Department of Tourism.
If this proposal is approved by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, director Jordan Vogt-Roberts will be the first foreign artist to take on the responsibility of promoting Vietnam's culture and tourism. Accordingly, the Vietnamese Tourism Ambassador will perform his main duties under the term of office, which is to propagate and promote the image of Vietnam tourism with communication, journalism and some other activities aimed at foreign tourists.
In early 2016, director Jordan Vogt-Roberts chose Vietnam as the main setting for the most anticipated blockbuster of 2017 Kong: Skull Island. During the 3-week period in Vietnam, the film crew filmed at a number of famous relics and landscapes such as Tu Lan Cave, Phong Nha Cave in Quang Binh, Trang An Eco Area, Tam Coc and Van Long lagoon in Ninh Binh and the natural wonder of Ha Long Bay in Quang Ninh...
Director Jordan Vogt-Roberts expressed his great excitement at many beautiful scenes in Vietnam and shared that Vietnam is a wonderful country and he really wants to return as a tourist who can go explore and learn more about the relics - history of the S-shaped strip of land.
The blockbuster film "Kong: Skull Island" will officially premiere in Vietnam on March 10.
