As the Tet holiday begins, people from all over have gathered at the beach and island tourist destinations in Nha Trang to experience and have fun. From the crossroads, tourist vehicles follow each other towards famous tourist destinations along Tran Phu beach, Nha Trang, including Nha Trang Tourist Wharf.
According to Mr. Tran Van Phu - Head of Nha Trang Tourist Wharf, due to the sudden high demand for tourism, boats at Nha Trang Tourist Wharf must operate at full capacity to serve tourists.
Similarly, tourist attractions such as Ponagar Tower, Long Son Pagoda and Nha Trang Bay island tours and Monkey Island Tourist Area, Orchid Island Tourist Area... also attract tourists.
At Cam Ranh Airport alone, from January 25 to February 2 (ie December 26 to the 5th day of the Lunar New Year), there were nearly 1,200 flights taking off and landing.
Of these, there are nearly 800 international flights and nearly 400 domestic flights, bringing more than 180,000 passengers to Khanh Hoa province. International visitors mainly come from Korea, China and Russian-speaking countries.
Due to the high number of tourists, many hotels and resorts in Khanh Hoa province are almost fully booked during the Lunar New Year 2025.
In particular, at hotels on Tran Phu Street, Nha Trang City and coastal resorts, most rooms have been fully booked.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh - Director of Khanh Hoa Province Department of Tourism said that before Tet, the department sent a document to tourism businesses, requesting them to strengthen measures to ensure a joyful, healthy, safe and economical Lunar New Year 2025.
The Department of Tourism requires businesses to strictly implement regulations on price registration, price posting, and selling at the correct listed price; tourist accommodation establishments and tourist areas with water entertainment services and swimming pool areas are requested to seriously implement solutions to ensure security and safety for tourists.
Putting 3 temporary parking lots into operation in Nha Trang
To solve the traffic congestion during Tet, Nha Trang City People's Committee has put into operation 3 temporary parking lots, with a capacity of nearly 600 cars. These parking lots were created from land that has not been invested in projects, to meet the needs of tourists and local residents.
Three temporary parking lots have been put into operation, including: the parking lot at the old Gas Station No. 4 site on October 23rd Street, next to Long Son Pagoda; the parking lot at the old Ana Mandara site on Tran Phu Street; and the parking lot at the land recovered from Nha Trang Sao Joint Stock Company.
These parking lots are fully equipped with amenities, including lighting systems, surveillance cameras, security stations and smart monitoring systems. Vehicles entering and exiting are scanned with cards and use a software system to control and collect parking fees accurately.
