Born in 2020, the Cricket Children's Award is held annually to honor "children's" and "for children" art compositions and performances. The award structure includes: 1 Grand Prize named Cricket Knight and Cricket Desire Awards.

Stepping into 2026, the organizers decided to elevate the award with a long-term orientation: Contributing to creating a cultural and artistic ecosystem for children in the context of digital transformation.
Not only stopping at awarding prizes, the award aims to promote the transformation of award-winning works into cultural products with spreading power, especially in the field of children's cinema.
This orientation is placed in the context that the whole country is implementing Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW of the Politburo, which emphasizes building a healthy cultural environment, developing literature and art and ensuring that students have regular access to art activities. The Cricket Award is expected to contribute to discovering, nurturing and promoting young creative talents.
According to regulations, works or manuscripts created, completed or published from January 1, 2025 to April 25, 2026 can all participate. Deadline for receiving works is 24:00 on April 25, 2026. The closing and award ceremony is expected to take place on International Children's Day 2026.
Another notable point of the 7th Cricket Children's Award is that there are no limits to the types of entries. Works can be from many fields such as literature, fine arts, music, performing arts or games.
The regulation expands and encourages the participation of both professional and amateur artists and especially young authors, while still ensuring a strict selection process.
In the past 6 years, the award has awarded 4 Cricket Knight awards to big names such as: Nguyen Nhat Anh, Tran Duc Tien, Ly Lan and Pham Tuyen, along with 27 Cricket Aspiration awards and 4 other Prizes. In addition to honoring the affirmed values, the award also plays the role of "incubator" for new faces.
Many authors who grew up from the award have continued to pursue creation and create their own mark, while young authors are also inspired to maintain their creative passion.
This shows that the spillover effect of the award does not only stop at honoring but also extends throughout the development journey of each individual.

Not only is it a professional activity, the Cricket Children's Award is also associated with social activities of humanistic significance, contributing to encouraging children to access art and build a healthy cultural environment.
Entering the 7th season, the organizers expect to expand the participation of individuals, organizations and units operating in the field of culture and arts.
On the foundation that has been built, the Cricket Children's Award continues to aim for the role of "support" for children's creativity, where the values of "children's" and "for children" are discovered, nurtured and spread sustainably.
