The "Dai Viet" tower started construction on June 10, 2024. The tower is 17.9 meters high, with 9 floors, made entirely of monolithic granite, in the style of Tran Dynasty architecture - prestigious, pure Vietnamese. The first floor worships Buddha, King Tran Nhan Tong - the blind King of Dai Viet, founder of the Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen sect.
The 8 floors above combine worship of Buddha A Di Da with four sides, symbolizing the immense light, reflecting all over the ten directions. The top of the tower is the 9999 golden lotus buds, along with the words "Dai Viet Thap" in the golden years, symbolizing the pure, sustainable and kind soul of the Vietnamese people. The tower is not only a Buddhist architectural work, but also a symbol of the cultural - spiritual - sovereignty of Vietnam.
Along with the inauguration of the Bao Tower, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Quang Ninh province has started construction of the square and the Ascension Area of Truc Lam Pagoda on Tran Island. The school is a center for teaching and learning, where lectures are organized, teaching and teaching, training to increase talent and foster Buddhism for fishermen and Buddhists in the archipelago. This will be a source of intellectual light at the border, spreading the spirit of "Buddhism in the world, indifferent to the world of knowledge", helping people, soldiers and tourists understand religion, practice good deeds, and live happily in real life.
The Ascension Area is a place for the Ascension, restoration and entertainment of the Ascension, harmoniously planned in the pagoda complex, ensuring living and practicing in harsh conditions outside the remote islands. The project demonstrates a sustainable vision in building a Buddhist life associated with the sea and islands for a long time, nurturing spirituality, contributing to firmly protecting the sky and sea of the Fatherland.
The inauguration ceremony of the "Dai Viet" Bao Tower and the groundbreaking ceremony of the square and the Ascension Area is a sacred milestone in the journey to create Truc Lam Pagoda on Tran Island - the first Truc Lam pagoda in the Forefront of the Fatherland.
