According to information from the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the film week has the theme "Revolutionary Cinema - Cultivating ideals, nurturing the future", introducing typical cinematic works, documentaries, and animated films of Vietnamese cinema on the theme of revolution, love and the value of life.
During the screening, audiences will be able to watch feature films: "Tunnels - Sun in the Dark", "Death in the Air", "Sound Across the Ocean", "Red Rain"; animated film "Cricket: Adventure to the muddy village".
The short film series includes: "The Little Boy", "The Promise of Dien Bien", "Warm Light", "Colorful Balls", "Poocbaga".
The films are screened at the Quang Ninh Provincial Planning, Fair and Exhibition Palace, with 2 screenings per day in the afternoon (3pm - 5:30pm) and evening (8pm - 10:30pm).
For Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, 3 screenings are organized each day, adding film screening time (9am - 11:30am).
Each screening serves about 1,000 spectators.
The Organizing Committee distributes free tickets from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, from April 23 to May 3, 2026, at the Provincial Planning, Fair and Exhibition Palace.
Film week aims to propagate and educate historical traditions, arouse patriotism, national pride and sense of responsibility in building and protecting the Fatherland.
Film screening activities are a cultural highlight in the series of events of Quang Ninh Culture, Sports, and Tourism Week welcoming summer 2026 with the theme "Ha Long Carnaval 2026 - A Wonder that Shines the New Era".
