HCMC - A serious electric pole explosion occurred on Lien Phuong Street, Thu Duc City, causing a male telecommunication cable employee to suffer severe burns.

At around 1:00 p.m. on March 25, an explosion occurred at a power pole on Lien Phuong Street, Thu Duc City. The explosion caused a male telecommunication cable employee to suffer severe burns.

According to information from witnesses at the scene, at the time of the incident, 4 employees of a telecommunication cable company were pulling a cable on Lien Phuong Street. While an employee was climbing the electric pole to do the job, the pole suddenly exploded.

The explosion caused severe burns on the male employee. The victim's three colleagues quickly helped him get to the ground.

Immediately after receiving the report, Thu Duc City authorities arrived at the scene. The victim was taken to Le Van Viet Hospital for emergency treatment with severe burns.

Currently, the authorities are investigating the cause of the explosion.
