Thuong Xuan At Temple Festival 2025 was organized by the People's Committee of Lao Cai City (Lao Cai Province), taking place in 3 days, from 10-12.2 (ie 13 to 15 January of the lunar calendar).
The event was organized in a provincial scale at the cultural relic complex of Thuong Temple, Lao Cai Ward, Lao Cai City.
On 10 and 11.2, present at Thuong Temple, as noted by PV Lao Dong newspaper, thousands of people and tourists from near and far have flocked here to visit and have fun in early spring.
As observed, within the framework of the 2025 Temple Festival, a series of activities and games such as crossbow shooting, playing sticks, cockfighting are attracting the curiosity and excitement of visitors.
Ms. Ly Thi Huong (Muong Khuong district) said: “On the beginning of the year, my family and I took advantage of Lao Cai city to travel spring. Currently, Thuong Temple is having a festival so we visit. The atmosphere at the festival was extremely exciting, everyone was happy because there were many attractive activities such as cheering the crossbow, pushing sticks ... ”.
Through research, Thuong Lao Cai temple is an important historical and cultural relic, located on Hoa Hieu hill, Lao Cai ward, Lao Cai city.
The temple was built in the post -Le dynasty, worshiping Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan - the national hero with great merit in the resistance war against Nguyen Mong army. In 1996, Thuong Temple was ranked as a national cultural and historical monument.
Every year, on the full moon day of January, the Thuong Temple Festival is solemnly held to honor the merits of Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan and his ancestors who have made the country and defended the country.
Thuong Temple Festival 2025 is not only an opportunity to commemorate the grace of Hung Dao Dai Vuong but also a bridge to promote the diverse culture of Lao Cai - the convergence of the quintessence of ethnic groups in the Northwest.
