Tens of thousands of photos, videos and media stories have truthfully recorded the positive changes of the country, simple but emotional everyday moments, the spirit of overcoming difficulties, sharing, creativity and the aspiration to rise up of every Vietnamese citizen.

The special thing about the award is that the creative subjects are not only artists, journalists, professional media professionals, but also places where all classes of people, Vietnamese compatriots abroad and international friends who love Vietnam can participate.

Through the Award, the Organizing Committee calls on professional and amateur authors, Vietnamese people and international friends, to record and share meaningful moments of Vietnamese life today - from the vibrant pace of urban life, changes in rural areas, to everyday stories in mountainous areas, borders, and islands.

These can be simple smiles, efforts to rise up in labor, study, and creativity; or positive changes in community life - all contribute to creating a truthful and colorful picture of a peaceful, developing and happy Vietnam.

The 2026 award is organized nationwide with 2 categories: photos and videos. Participants are Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged 15 and over.

Entries need to ensure authenticity, artistic and communication value, clearly reflect the development achievements of the country, and at the same time convey positive and humane messages with widespread influence in society, in line with the theme "Happiness from simple things". The deadline for receiving entries is from after the Launching Ceremony to the end of August 30, 2026.

The Award Ceremony is expected to be held in the fourth quarter of 2026 in Hanoi and will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television.

Not only stopping at one award, "Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam 2026" is also a series of large-scale communication activities, including Happy Vietnam Day, exhibitions of excellent works, response events in many localities and promotional activities on domestic and international media platforms. Thereby, contributing to bringing the image of Vietnam - a country that respects, protects and promotes human rights - closer to friends around the world.

With a consistent message about a peaceful, developed and happy Vietnam, the "Happy Vietnam 2026" Award is expected to continue to ignite national pride, inspire creativity and spread good values in society, contributing to building an increasingly positive, humane and sustainable national image in the eyes of the international community.
