The festival took place over 3 days (December 5-7) in the Hoan Kiem Lake area, Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, Hanoi, with a series of diverse, creative and meaningful activities.
The opening ceremony took place on the morning of December 6 with the participation of: Ms. Ha Thi Nga - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Mr. Le Hai Binh - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), Ms. Tran Thi Thu Dong - Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, President of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists...
Speaking at the opening of the festival, Mr. Le Hai Binh said that 2025 marks a proud milestone when Vietnam rose to 46th place globally in the World Happiness Report, up 8 places compared to last year. This is not only a statistic, but also a recognition of the persistent efforts of the Party and State in creating a peaceful, humane living environment and above all, the spirit of optimism and compassion of the Vietnamese people. At the same time, it vividly reflects the aspirations and solidarity of millions of Vietnamese people towards a prosperous, prosperous and loving future.
Mr. Le Hai Binh emphasized: "Each person is the subject of creating happiness, the one who inspires and tells that happy story with their own life. For the Vietnamese people, happiness is always built on simple things: A warm meal, a bumper crop, a helping hand in times of trouble. It is these small values that have contributed to the country's enduring strength for many generations".
With that meaning, the Vietnam Happy Fest 2025 was born as a multi-layered experience journey. This year's event space is held along the streets of Hoan Kiem Lake. 13 experience points are designed as 13 emotional beats: Vietnam Happiness Exhibition; Digital interactive space; photobooth art; Happy Lenses; Happy Map; Outdoor activities "Health is happiness"; Sending happiness to tomorrow; Happiness sharing; Happy announcer.
In particular, in the Ly Thai To Monument area, the happy Tree will receive tens of thousands of wishes and wishes. Each piece of paper is a story, a wish, a seed of love. In addition to honoring happiness, the event also sent a spirit towards the Central region and disadvantaged areas.
A special activity that attracted attention was the Collective wedding Ceremony of 80 couples - "Love is Happiness". The joy of 80 couples today has a symbolic meaning for the 80 years of Independence - freedom - Happiness of the nation.
Among them, there are young couples entering new lives, and there are couples who have been together for 15, 30, 50 years. They are a vivid image showing that happiness is not a miracle, but an understanding and sharing every day.
Along with the wedding ceremony, other activities such as: Vietnamese costume parade "Flowerwalk" with 800 people; Workshop "Happy Lenses"; Happy Vietnam 2025 Award Ceremony; "Happy Vietnam" Music Night... will take people and tourists on the journey of colors, art and sincere emotions.
The 3rd Happy Vietnam Award is also held on the platform of promoting the national image of Vietnam, continuing to reap many successes. In 2025, the contest attracted more than 4,600 authors with more than 17,000 photo and video works, an increase of 1.7 times compared to 2024. Each work is a touching story, a realistic cut of the Vietnamese people, of the peaceful life and the daily changing beauty of the country, told from the appreciative perspective of the people and international friends.
