    The organizers of Iran's international photography competition - Golden Shot International Photography Awards - have just announced the results of the largest photo competition in 2024.

    Accordingly, Viet Van - a reporter for Lao Dong Newspaper - won the third prize in the single photo category - Portrait - with the work "Young Contemporary Artist" which is a portrait of young artist Luu Tuyen, a person who is always searching for values ​​and personal identity in the historical process. This work was published in Private Photoreview (France) and exhibited online by Getinspired (Netherlands).

    The jury consists of prestigious photography experts from many countries, including critics, curators, photographers, filmmakers, and the president is famous photographer Ed Kashi (USA, Photo VII group). The grand prize belongs to author Sadegh Souri, Iran with the photo series “Smuggling victims”. In this contest, Iranian and American authors won the most awards in the categories of Daily Life, Concept, Mobile Phones, etc.

    A prize of 20 photo book publishing grants will be awarded to the winners to encourage and support photographers to present their work in the most professional manner.
