On June 24, at the People's Procuracy of Quang Binh province, the Supreme People's Procuracy held a ceremony to announce and hand over the decision to appoint key leadership positions of the People's Procuracy of Quang Tri province after the merger.
At the ceremony, Lieutenant General Ta Quang Khai - Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy, Director of the Central Military Procuracy presented the decision to appoint Mr. Nguyen Tien Hung - Senior Prosecutor, Chief Prosecutor of the Quang Binh Provincial People's Procuracy to hold the position of Chief Prosecutor of the Quang Tri Provincial People's Procuracy (after the merger), for a term starting from July 1, 2025.
At the same time, 6 Deputy Heads of the People's Procuracy of Quang Binh and Quang Tri provinces were appointed to the new position of Deputy Heads of the People's Procuracy of Quang Tri province. On the same occasion, the Supreme People's Procuracy also announced decisions to appoint Provost and Deputy Provost in 8 areas of the new Quang Tri province, in which each former province kept 4 areas.
Speaking at the assignment, Lieutenant General Ta Quang Khai requested the collective leadership of the People's Procuracy of Quang Tri province to promote the spirit of solidarity, maintain political courage, improve the quality of the practice of prosecution, judicial prosecution and fight against crimes, especially economic crimes, corruption and negativity.
On the side of Quang Binh province, Mr. Tran Hai Chau - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council suggested that the new leader of the People's Procuracy of Quang Tri province uphold the sense of responsibility, continue to closely coordinate with local judicial agencies, build a streamlined and efficient apparatus, effectively carry out the tasks of judicial reform and maintain discipline and law.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tien Hung pledged to strive to stabilize the organization after the merger, promote innovation, promote the sense of responsibility of the Procuracy, contribute to the protection of socialist rule of law and sustainable development of Quang Tri province.
