On May 9, the Quang Ngai Provincial Labor Federation said that the grassroots trade union of Toray International Vietnam Co., Ltd. in VSIP Quang Ngai Industrial Park has just coordinated with the board of directors to organize a meaningful "Trade Union Meal" program for nearly 1,000 union members and workers of the company.
The "Trade Union Meal" program is an opportunity for business leaders, trade union officials and union members and workers to sit together, sharing in a warm atmosphere like a family; showing the concern of the trade union executive committee and leaders of Toray International Vietnam Co., Ltd. for the quality of meals for union members and workers.
Each meal is worth 60,000 VND (excluding gas, electricity, water... costs) ensuring nutrition, helping union members and workers regenerate labor. More especially, cool orange juice is personally prepared and presented to union members and workers by the grassroots trade union executive committee. This is an "summer thirst quenching" activity maintained by the grassroots trade union once a month, energizing union members and workers in the hot summer.
Also on this occasion, the Quang Ngai Provincial Labor Federation organized visits, encouragement and presented 10 gifts to union members in difficult circumstances, each worth 500,000 VND in cash.
