On the morning of April 22, at the Provincial Labor Culture House, the Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Department of Home Affairs and the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks to organize the Launching Ceremony of Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026.
In 2026, Workers' Month is implemented with the theme "Vietnamese Workers: Innovation, improving labor productivity"; Action Month on occupational safety and health with the theme "Innovating management and improving the efficiency of occupational safety and health work in the digital age".
Through the Launching Ceremony, it aims to create a peak of communication, raise awareness and awareness of law compliance on occupational safety and health of workers and employers.
This is also an opportunity for trade union levels, agencies, units, and businesses to continue to perform well the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers; promoting the role of union members and workers in emulation movements "good labor, creative labor", technical innovation, and improving labor productivity associated with ensuring labor safety and hygiene.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. U Huan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, praised, acknowledged and congratulated the results that trade unions at all levels, departments, agencies, localities, businesses and workers have achieved in the past time.
Mr. U Huan requested trade union levels to organize good emulation movements for labor production, innovation, and labor productivity improvement; propagate and mobilize workers to voluntarily participate in the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
Focus resources, create breakthroughs in developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions, especially in non-state sector enterprises, informal sector workers; perform well the role of representing, protecting rights, participating in negotiations, signing collective labor agreements, contributing opinions to improve policies...
Workers need to become a pioneering and comprehensively strong force, contributing to realizing the aspiration to develop the country in the era of industrialization, modernization and the era of national rise.
On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 7 enterprises with outstanding achievements in occupational safety and health in 2025; the Provincial Labor Federation presented 100 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
