On May 11, the Quang Ngai Provincial Labor Federation said that Cam Thanh Ward Trade Union coordinated with Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union to organize the "Workers' Day" program in 2026 with the theme: "Vietnamese workers: Innovation, improving labor productivity".
The program is an activity to respond to Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026, and at the same time create a space for exchange, connection, and care for the material and spiritual life of union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers in the area.
Attending the program were leaders of the Quang Ngai Provincial Labor Federation; leaders of localities, businesses and a large number of union members and workers of grassroots trade unions.
The highlight of the program is the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between Cam Thanh Ward Trade Union, Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union and Quang Ngai Medical Center on health examination and counseling for workers in the coming time. The activity aims to strengthen health care, improve the quality of life for union members and workers, towards building a safe, stable and humane working environment.
Within the framework of the festival, the Organizing Committee also awarded prizes for the online photo contest "Beauty of Ao Dai" for female workers, civil servants, and laborers of Nghia Lo ward in 2026. The contest attracted the positive response of many grassroots trade unions, contributing to honoring the beauty of women in labor and life.
In particular, the program presented 34 gifts with a total value of 20 million VND to union members and workers suffering from dangerous diseases and in difficult circumstances working at units and businesses in the area. The gifts are not only of material significance but also show the timely sharing and encouragement of the trade union organization towards workers.
