On November 31, the Trade Union of ASEAN Steel Joint Stock Company (Hoa Phu Industrial Park, Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Province) informed that since the beginning of 2024, the unit has donated and handed over 3 "Houses of Trust" to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
This is one of the humane and very practical activities that the grassroots Trade Union and the Board of Directors of Asean Steel Joint Stock Company have implemented.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh is a worker in the steel rolling workshop. He has been with the company since its establishment until now.
Mr. Thanh is one of the diligent and dedicated workers in the company. He is considered by many new workers as a shining example of the will to succeed in life.
Mr. Thanh shared: "After many years of hard work, I only wished for one thing: to have a house to protect me from the sun and rain. But no matter how much we saved, my family still could not manage to make ends meet.
Fortunately, thanks to the financial support from the Trade Union and the company's Board of Directors, I was able to get some funding to fulfill my dream," Thanh added.
Recently, Mr. Thanh has officially completed his dream house. Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Chairman of the Trade Union of Industry and Trade of Dak Lak province - shared: "The Trade Union of ASEAN Steel Joint Stock Company is one of the units that effectively implements many union member welfare programs, building shelters for workers in difficult circumstances".
According to Mr. Tuan, the meaningful activities of the grassroots trade union along with the support of the board of directors have helped workers in difficulty stabilize their lives and feel secure at work.
In recent times, the grassroots trade union has coordinated with the company's leadership to take good care of the material and spiritual life of union members and workers. Thereby, fully implementing regimes such as salary, bonus, social insurance, health insurance, 24/7 insurance...
Along with that, the Trade Union of ASEAN Steel Joint Stock Company also coordinated to organize activities to propagate labor safety and hygiene, and fire prevention and fighting.
In production activities, the company also organizes annual health check-ups for union members and employees; visits and promptly supports cases of illness and work-related accidents; and supports interest-free loans for union members and employees in difficult circumstances.
Asean Steel Joint Stock Company is a unit specializing in the production of steel billets and construction steel in Hoa Phu Industrial Park, Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Province. The company currently has a total of more than 500 employees.
