Through the writing contest, the Organizing Committee received a total of 1,156 entries in various genres: Newspaper (840 entries), magazine (295 entries), radio - television - video clips (21 entries).
According to the Organizing Committee’s assessment, many entries were carefully and thoughtfully invested in terms of content and presentation. At the end of the writing contest, the Jury selected 42 outstanding entries for the Tay Ho District Party Committee Standing Committee to commend.
Also at the Conference, the People's Committee of Tay Ho District awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with achievements in natural disaster prevention work in 2024 (Storm No. 3 - Yagi).
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong - Member of the Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City hoped that with the results achieved in the first organization, she believed that the writing contest "Aspiration for Tay Ho - Aspiration for Thang Long" in the following years will continue to be successful and even more successful.
Regarding the sense of responsibility of the leaders of Tay Ho district during the recent storm No. 3, Ms. Huong acknowledged and commended the sense of responsibility of the entire political system of Tay Ho district in leading and directing the timely overcoming of the damage caused by the storm.
"The district needs to continue to strengthen leadership, direction, management, and review storm damage to the growth of industries and sectors to adjust and develop economic growth scenarios for the last months of 2024 in line with the new situation," Ms. Huong emphasized.
