Introducing nearly 1,000 job positions for students in eastern Ho Chi Minh City

Ho Chi Minh City - The "Career Orientation and Job Exchange" program has introduced nearly 1,000 job positions for students in the Vung Tau area.

On September 14, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Employment Service Center in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Tam Thang ward and the Youth Union of Vung Tau Tourism College organized the program "Career Orientation and Job Exchange" for about 350 first-year students of Vung Tau Tourism College.

In the program, students participate and listen to experience sharing from experts in the skills workshop "Baggage for freshmen". At the same time, they can visit, learn information and exchange directly with employers in recruitment areas, thereby having more information about human resource needs, job positions, and requirements for skills and professional style of businesses.

On this occasion, 4 companion businesses brought nearly 1,000 recruitment targets, focusing on the F&B (food and beverage services) industry group with positions such as: restaurant manager, team leader, cashier, waiter, kitchen assistant, processing... Besides, there are many positions such as consultant, marketing... in the Banking industry group.

According to the Organizing Committee, the activity is organized for the first time in the eastern area of Ho Chi Minh City. In the role of accompanying youth in training, equipping vocational skills and connecting labor supply and demand, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Employment Service Center wishes to strengthen the connection between businesses and workers, especially union members, youth, and students.

Through the program, creating opportunities for businesses and workers to meet and exchange directly, thereby bringing career opportunities closer to young people and students in the eastern area of the city.

On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Employment Service Center also signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Tam Thang ward on job introduction for young people; at the same time, signed with the Youth Union of Vung Tau Tourism College to coordinate the organization of a skills conference "Getting in for new students" and the program "Career Orientation and Job Exchange" in the coming time.
