On the morning of April 25, at WHA Nghe An Industrial Park (IP), the Management Board of Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone coordinated with departments, branches and businesses to organize the 2nd Job Fair in 2026.
The program was attended by Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Thai Van Thanh along with representatives of universities, colleges, vocational training institutions and more than 1,500 workers and final year students.
The festival takes place during the Hung Kings Commemoration Day holiday, April 30 and May 1, attracting a large number of workers returning to their localities to participate. Workers have direct access to businesses, participate in quick interviews, career counseling, skill orientation and choose jobs suitable to their abilities.
At the program, 15 businesses participated in recruitment with a demand of about 14,000 job positions, including general labor and technical and office personnel. In addition, the units also introduced information about the working environment, remuneration regime and career development roadmap so that workers have more basis for choice.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Thai Van Thanh emphasized that in the context of businesses shifting to high technology, the demand for skilled labor is increasing, opening up many quality job opportunities for local workers.
Leaders of Nghe An province said that the locality not only attracts investment but also focuses on ensuring living conditions for workers. Social housing and worker housing projects are being accelerated, along with the health, education, and cultural infrastructure systems being gradually completed.
Through this, workers can find stable jobs with suitable income right in their hometown, limiting the situation of having to work far away.
To improve connectivity efficiency, the province proposes that units promote the application of digital platforms in recruitment, strengthen links between training institutions and businesses to provide appropriate human resources.
Businesses are also recommended to pay attention to welfare regimes, working environments, and consider employees as the central factor for sustainable development.
The 2nd Job Fair in 2026 is expected to contribute to solving employment, improving income for people, and meeting the human resource needs of businesses in the province.
