The force has safely protected nearly 3,000 events, serving many important political and foreign events such as the visit to Vietnam by General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping; the 2nd ASEAN Future Forum; the Summit for Partners for Green Growth and the Global Target 2030; Exhibition "80-year Journey of Independence - freedom - Happiness"; high-level conference on cybercrime prevention and control; the 18th Hanoi Party Congress... Thereby affirming Hanoi as a safe and secure destination.
In particular, Hanoi City Police mobilized maximum forces and means to ensure absolute security and safety for the Commemoration Ceremony, parade, and parade of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2 (A80 event) at Ba Dinh Square on September 2, 2025.

Along with that, Hanoi City Police will step up propaganda on crime prevention, especially high-tech crimes; organize seminars with KOLs on cybercrime prevention and the impact of AI; coordinate the production of the film "Tuan Hoa Trang An" to raise public awareness.
Third, pioneering in streamlining the apparatus, serving the operation of local governments at two levels. Hanoi City Police will implement the policy of terminating the activities of district-level police from March 1, 2025; deploy 126 commune-level police according to the new administrative boundaries from July 1, 2025; and implement it nationwide soon. At the same time, receive and implement 4 new tasks without interruption: management of drug rehabilitation and after rehabilitation; management of criminal records; testing, issuing driving licenses; management of network information safety and security. In the organizational arrangement, 59 leaders and commanders applied for early retirement, 10 department heads and district police chiefs applied for lower positions.

Many products and platforms have been launched such as Virtual Assistant - AI listeners 1900.0113; chatbot serving 24/7; 113-114 smart listeners; 3D digital museums; document digitization; electronic medical records... In particular, the 1,837 AI camera system was inaugurated and put into use on December 13, 2025, aiming to integrate smart transportation.
Seventh, advise on resolving 5 "bottlenecks" of the Capital including flooding, congestion, urban order, environmental sanitation, food safety; organize resolutions, plans, and apply technology to improve the effectiveness of management and handling of violations.
Eighth, take care of social security, support people to overcome natural disasters. Over 15,000 officers and soldiers, more than 9,000 grassroots security forces, more than 2,800 vehicles participated in the response; mobilized about 12 billion VND, supported many localities; responded to the temporary house removal program, supported the construction, repair of houses and donated blood to save lives with 4,350 units of blood.
Fourth, promote propaganda, culture - sports to create an emulation atmosphere. Communication work reached more than 60 million visits; the section "For the Security of the Capital" maintained 98 programs. The Hanoi Police Museum welcomed nearly 16,000 visitors. Many artistic activities, sports festivals, and competitions have achieved high results; Hanoi Police Football Club won the 2024-2025 National Cup for the first time, and won the 2025 Southeast Asian Club Championship.
Ten is, strengthen foreign affairs and international cooperation. Hanoi City Police maintain agreements with many partners; increase the number of foreign working groups; organize international sports friendship activities; participate in international rescue in Myanmar in March 2025; coordinate the extradition of wanted international subjects to serve the fight against transnational crimes.
