Recently, the Hanoi City People's Council of the XVII term approved a list of 3,133 works and projects for land recovery to implement socio-economic development projects for national and public interests in the city in the period 2026 - 2030.
According to the approved list, in Long Bien ward, land is expected to be recovered for the implementation of many traffic projects; building parks, regulating lakes; preserving relics...
Among these, there are 24 transitional projects according to the Resolution of the City People's Council in 2025 and 3 newly registered projects.
Among them, there are some drainage projects such as: Building the Viet Hung - Cau Bay ditch and Cu Khoi regulating lake; building the Cu Khoi pumping station and the drainage ditch outside the left dyke of the Red River.
The city will also build a specialized school for disabled children in Hanoi City (Binh Minh primary school and Xa Dan secondary school cluster) in Long Bien ward.
Notably, there are up to 10 projects to build new roads in Long Bien ward, such as:
- Construction of Xuan Do road according to the 13.5m plan from the Red River dike to the Thanh Tri bridge service road.
- Construction of a 17.5m road according to the plan from Co Linh street to Tu Dinh street.
- Construction of a 13.5m road according to the plan from Tran Vu Temple to alley 204 Co Linh street.
- Construction of a road according to the plan from X20 garment company to the information technology park.
- Construction of a road according to the plan from Huynh Tan Phat street to Thach Ban street.
- Construction of 17.5m and 22m roads connecting to Thach Ban urban area and Thach Ban auction area.
- Construction of a planned road from Hanh Phuc alley to Thanh Tri bridge service road.
- Construction of a 25m, 30m road according to the plan from the Red River dike to Thach Ban urban area
- Construction of a 25m road according to the plan from Co Linh road to 25m Cu Khoi road.
- Construction of a 40m; 30m road according to the plan from Nguyen Thoi Trung to Co Linh street.
